Crazy! With gas prices these days, I dunno if it's worth the drive.

Just make sure you arrive within the first hour of opening or else they might run out of certain dumplings. Would hate for you to make the drive and not get the full menu. Can't go wrong if you order the potstickers.

Thanks for reminding me how much I love them. Haven't been in a while myself. But are you sure? They're not quite your style. You eat almost as fancy as Kevin. ;)

it could go pretty pricey depending what you order. normally around 140 per person.. after drinks. you did made me crave for osso bucco - my favourite italian main course i hadn't tried for years..

Thanks! Definitely check out the "real deal" next time you're there. I may go to Atelier on my next trip to Vegas though (Savoy as well).

Thanks! I've got a pic of me and the Leaning Tower too. Except in mine I'm pushing it up. :)

The one I am familiar with is La Maison du Chocolat's. I am glad there is someone here who's not only into savory food but also tasty sweets.

I guess they didn't deep try them too long, I was really surprised that they were very tender and juicy.... yes tasted like chicken when I closed my eyes
    • t-bone wrote a comment on Chambai Ants 2 years ago
this is my first time eating ants... because both this and the crickets have a lot of potato strings, i thought they were fundamentally similar... I couldn't resist; they were just for fun:)
    • t-bone wrote a comment on Taiwanese Crickets 2 years ago
LOL, I was just curious because I saw it on "Bizarre Food - LA" I don't think potato string is typical Taiwanese
    • t-bone wrote a comment on Chambai Ants 2 years ago
to me, they have a very subtle acidic/bitter taste, but because of the potato strings, this feels like a dish that will go well with beer

      its more towards crunchy:)
    • t-bone wrote a comment on Frog’s Legs 2 years ago
yes deep-fried, so the outside is crunchy,

it actually tastes better than its look...the cilantro sauce goes well with it..
