I don't care what anyone says. When in New York, you MUST goto Katz Deli. Forget Stage, Carnegie, and all those other tourist traps, this is the deli to go to. Even when I am stuck on Long Island with no car, I will take the train into the city and head to Katz.

By Graphracker 1 year ago It's hard to say with any deli. You know, sometimes the corned beef is better, other times it's the brisket or pastrami. It all depends on your cutter and what piece he grabs and slices from. Sometimes it's too fatty, other times it's so lean, it's dry. They're all good. I usually don't decide until I get up to the counter and take a good look at the meats. The cutter will slice you off a taste, too, so you can make your decision from there. Don't forget to goto John's Pizza on Bleecker, too.
