These look so good, we're going to try Joe's next time we visit LV. Was 6 a big portion for 2 people?

depends...i ordered one order and a caesar salad to share between 2 people. i had to order another order of crab. most people at the restaurant order the crab to share as an appetizer or an entree for one person.

it's served cold with their special mustard sauce. i asked for drawn butter. the crab is sweet like king crab and very meaty.

You can get these at the regular Rio buffet for dinner... at least you could the last time I went which was years ago

I did have them at the Paris brunch buffet about a year ago. But...they're not the same as the crab served at Joe's. The stone crabs at the Paris buffet were very small and didn't have the same flavor as the crabs at Joe's.

Are you sure? These are stone crab claws, not Alaskan king crab LEGS you see at most buffets...

Positive, because I don't like snow crab legs... but I do like Alaskan King crab which is different, however, at the Rio I did enjoy the stone crab

no picture = no stone crab. You are probably mistaken.

Considering it was 3/4 years ago, this site wasn't even up so I wasn't really in the habit of taking pictures of my meals. Additionally, I am not sure if you understand English but when someone says "Positive" it usually means that they are sure of their answer and in fact was not "probably mistaken."
