Same here. I'm not good enough to eat the pretty ones, so couldn't touch this until it had been rendered ugly by too many missing servings.

I told Wandering Chopsticks that it was too pretty when she was making it, but she just scoffed at me! She didn't realize the terror of guilt it would bring to touch the pretty one. :)

It's true--there was great consternation about this particular pancake. :-D I'll have to chime in and say that the messed-up one was quite tasty. I'm not sure *who* ate of the beauteous one.
