For some reason, it was tastier as a leftover...

Cheddar cheese was the extra ingredient =p

yeah it tastes better because as food cools down they've had a longer time to blend in with its counterparts and thats where that extra flavour comes in.

when ever i bake a cake or anything sweet and i take a bite out of it when its still hot/warm and it doesnt taste sweet enough to me, i tell myself its okay because its going to get sweeter as it cools down. :)

Cool, however supposedly the potato flavor is retained w/ the skin on?

ehhh, i've never heard of that...i know several people who are not a fan of the skin. Personally I am a fan, in fact sometimes i wish there were more in my mashies but I see that yours look pretty clean so I suggested it to you.

I see, thanks.

Actually my sister cooked this and most of the dishes. I just took the pics.

I prefer skin in the mashed potatoes as well, the "best" I had so far was from Claim Jumpers...

You should get this cheddar cheese that has onion and chives in it. Mix it in with the potatoes and you get the same taste as those stuffed double bake potatoes at your local steak house.
