Slab Pork Ribs
After going to Phillips on Crenshaw Blvd. I was wanting some more, and I just happened to be visiting my grandmother today and she only lives like 15 minutes from the Inglewood location, how convenient! This is some finger lickin, tender, fall off the bone, ghetto BBQ that you can't get at a chain restaurant or a bougie neighborhood.
They ran out of baby backs so I got the regular pork ribs a la carte. Not sure why but these weren't as tender fall of the bone as the ones I had from the Crenshaw location. Good but not as good as, nonetheless it still is very satisfying stuff with the smokey smell you get walking into the joint makes your mouth water. You have a choice of mild, hot or mix (mild and hot mixed together aka medium). Mild doesn't have that much taste and the extra chilies in Hot overwhelm the sauce and meat. Additionally you can have your sauce on the side instead of on top of the ribs (which is what I tried this time).
