- 1 lick By brunsthomasl 4 months ago The food by itself looks great, but the plating seriously detracts from the overall appeal. There is what appears to be blood drippings from the steak still on the rim of the plate and the edge of the plate facing us makes me think it was salvaged from Mel's Diner. A black plate or a stainless steel serving platter in a wood base would be a better presentation followed up with, perhaps, an apple ring on a lettuce leaf in the 2:00 position.
