Wow! yum! Ruth Chris is my favorite steakhouse because they serve their food on "extremely hot" dishes.

"Beef rib eye steak is cut across the grain from beef rib eye roast. It has little or no fat cover, and is usually prepared by broiling, grilling, panbroiling, or panfrying."

The steak here is fantastic, even though the prices are high the premium you pay is well worth it. This cowboy ribeye (ribeye with bone in) was 22-ounces of pure heaven. Ruth usually undercooks your order just a bit because the plates are so hot they still cook when plated so ordering medium was perfect. I love the sound of the sizzling butter on the plate as the waiter/waitress brings you your food!

My friend says anyone who would pay $40 for a steak is a fool. Go see my double-double posting. This is all.

I feel sorry for your friend because they don't know how to appreciate fine dinning. Comparing a double double to a premium ribeye is like comparing the intelligence of the valedictorian from your high school and Stephen Hawkings, simply preposterous.

Ruth Chris in Baltimore and Pittsburgh is the best - I started getting the 16 oz. lobster tail in Baltimore and then changed to the veal. The one in San Antonio was a bug disappointment, but that was some years ago so hopefully we caught them on a bad night. Headed out to the one in Fort Worth tonight - taking my husband out for a post New Year's eve celebration. He's never been to Ruth Chris before, poor dear - I see a Cowboy Ribeye in his very near future.

I don't feel sorry for anyone who goes into a steak restaurant and orders a Lobster Tail or Veal. Granted both items are high on my eating list, but at no time would I even consider each at any top end Steak Eatery. I've had the 'Cowboy Ribeye" and several Ruth Chris' around the country and this is the item you want to order. You might want to live a little yourself, and get away from the seafood and alternate beef product items.
