Crunchy Shrimp Tempura CA Roll

this CA Roll has Crunchy Shrimp Tempura inside out. But, I only feel the outside Shrimp Tempura.... Maybe the inner Shrimp Tempura are too moist?
other ingredients such as Crab, Avocado, Cucumber are all right.

By Yatouhi 7 months ago I sometimes notice the same thing. "Maybe the inner Shrimp Tempura as too moist?". I notice that sometimes this happens. Especially when there is cucumber! Because cucumber is at least 70% water. The crab is also a little moist, same thing with avocado, but that cucumber gives up it's moisture quickly to the dried tempura batter. Not much of a way around this. Even thicker batter soaks it up. Even eaten right after it is made, the batter is already absorbing the water from the cuke. Looks good though! Especially with the sauce drizzled on it!

By Yatouhi 7 months ago Well thanks. : ). I have always had to work, I live on a farm. Certainly no expert, but there is so much food here!
