See the shell in the background? Well thats whee the orange stuff up front came from. If you're there before they run out Yoshi will have a big silver pan full of Live Uni sitting there and you can tell they are still alive because when he taps them with his spoon the spines will start moving. Anyway you squeeze the lemon over the uni and then perhaps dip it into some soy sauce and wasabi. This is also a very ricv dish. It has a slightly nutty flavor along with some whispery saltiness that leaves the flavor of the sea on your tongue.

Yum, this is my favourite kai moana (seafood), in New Zealand, Aotearoa, we call this KINA. Most Maori families are brought up eating this, we go to the sea, collect and take home to eat. Generally we can just find in the rock pools when the tide is out, but alot of people go diving for the real big ones. My ultimate food!
