Yes, it's got the citrus flavor in it...I think most of places will put that in; you may request for a plant sweet sugar cane juice?! Have you tried the Food Court I mentioned at the corner of Garvey and San Gabriel yet? Since they are made to order, I think you can request w/out it?!

I did try that place in the food court, but I didn't see any citrus, but when I got my drink there was that slight citrus flavor...not as strong as Banh Mi Che Cali or Van's Bakery. You know what I don't know how they sneak it in. I see them put only the plant...and I think it's all good, until I taste it which sucks on my part. Plus there might be a language barrier when requesting to not have the citrus in there because I don't know what fruit they are using. I'm going to try the Fresh Roast place on San Gabriel Blvd and Broadway like someone had suggested.
