Per wanderingchopsticks' recommendation, I tried this dish out. When I took the first bite, I was a bit surprised to find out that the dumplings were juicy inside. It immediately reminded me of XLBs. Best of both worlds, what a great deal.

By AhBbJeh 9 months ago You know, my mom used to go to costco to buy a particular dumpling brand. I dont remember what it is but its a big yellow bag and the directions tells you to place oil WITH the water and simmer away and eventually it'll evaporate and have an easier time for you pan fry. I was skeptical at first because I dont really trust such things (the whole dumpling in a bag just like the whole fried chicken in a box [hahaa but I still eat it ;x]) and it blew my mind away. It met up with the competition of some of the finest restaurant's dumplings. Your pictures remind me of it and since you like them juicy like that I thought it'd be a really good recommendation for you guys when the restaurant's is closed.
