So you like this place then? I've driven by so many times and always wondered whether I should go inside.

Green bean slush ice rocks. I prefer it over red bean slush ice.

Mung Beans (Green):

Adzuki Beans (Red):

It's kind of a toss-up as each gives you something different

I was thinking along the lines of ayurvedic medicine. Mung beans balance all three of your doshas. :P

They're also easier to digest and don't give you as much gas as other beans.

But actually, I remember my grandma always saying how it's very "cooling."

yes, i like this place. i don't know of any other place nearby that serves "snowflakes" and has an internet connection.

i usually prefer Adzuki over Mung, but next time i'm getting both.

Yeah. I was always told that it is a "cool" food as opposed to red bean, which is a "hot" food.

I thought one was better to eat in the summer and the other better in the winter. I think the red is for the winter and the mung bean for the summer, but I might have it backwards.

Red bean is considered a "hot" food. Mung bean is considered to be a "cool" food. So, I think you're right about that.
