Mortified, hmm, I don't know if my telling you more about this would help.

I suppose they start with a soup base and add pig blood, tofu, fish, shrimp, mussels, pig intestines... okay, maybe I'll stop there, maybe it's a little too much craziness... but I like it, and it's quite good in moderation.

thx for the description...is that how the pig blood cube is made or the bandit casserole? i am curious about the cube. my friend just told me how delicious it was, like eating chocolate. why is pig blood tasty?

The taste of pig's blood is rather bland. It's the texture of pig's blood, which is good, yet hard to acquire. It's kinda slicker and firmer than tofu. I've been eating it since I was a kid, so the thought of it doesn't scare me. Afterall, I do believe there's good nutrients (iron) in it.
