By scoundrel 3 years ago I have not been to Mama's but you should try Sun's on Polk and for sure go to Home Plate (by Pierce) on Lombard and eat his homemade (on the spot) Scones with his fresh made raspberry puree. His carrot pancakes are the best I have ever had. After you are delightfully gorged from his xquisite cuisine, step next door to City Famous Nails (Kim use to own it) and get an old fashion manicure/pedicure from her Mom Sandra (American name). Guys, she will use paste and buff your nails so you have a clean/natural look. They treat you so GREAT and are always very nice.
