Taro is very addictive~~I like it because of the presentation & the name "FORGET ME NOT"! It's kinda creative!

yeah, I like the names vanille has for their cakes. So creative--except it's hard to guess what's inside the cake sometimes ;)

you should go during tea time, i believe 2-6pm in afternoons. they serve a plate with a variety of mini slices of cake and a drink (tea/coffee) for $6

hi Kawaii_panda...I wanna go to there during tea time too; however, I'm working until 5 p.m. :(
You know what, I use the nickname "kawaii" in some forums too. Nice to meet you.

As much as I like taro, the tubular shaped cream on top reminds me of noodles or something... makes the dish look unappetizing

Thngotiatr, haha...I wonder why they made the tubular shaped cream on top though. :) hee

it's like the chestnut puree for a mont blanc cake --i guess they were trying to be creative and used taro :)

Yummy--taro! I'm not a big fan of Vanille, unfortunately (their desserts seem to be made more with an eye for design than flavor). Give me a nice homey slice of taro cake (doesn't need to look so good, as long as it's good) or chocolate layer cake and I'm happy. :-)

I agree what you've said. hehe~ that's why I said earlier...I lick their "presentation" and the dessert's name... =)

There's one Bakery have very tasty Taro cake...Though it doesn't look good, it's very crispy "inside" & outside is very soft...and you could taste the taro flavor...The Bakery is in Chinatown.
