By jendiver 2 months ago what is the price of shark's fin soup? good question. how about destroying the fragile balance of the ocean's food web and ecology, cruel and unsustainable finning methods, using only 4% of the total shark and so wasting most of it. and no nutritional value or flavour - all the flavour (as pointed out by pekinese, above) comes from the broth and the nutritional value has been debunked by all major nutritionists. Sharks are slow to reproduce and many are endangered.
there are plenty of alternatives to sharks fin, don't use the original. many celebrities have backed the anti-shark fin campaigns, you should join!
