By JoeL 3 months ago Our kids love this dish, we always ask the waiter to give us an extra order of the bread. I believe our kids love the bread more than the ham.

This is the kind of dried and chewy ham similar to Virginia ham. In Chinese, this is known as kum wah foor tui, the same kind that they put in some mooncakes for the Mid Autumn Festival.

In this picture, it looks like some green beans under the ham. But in our order, we usually get delicious chestnuts on the bottom instead of beans. The chestnuts are so well cooked that they melt in your mouth. Mmm... YumYum. The whole dish is smouthered in honey sauce. I kind of found it too sweet to my taste.
