By cloudy 4 years ago This looked really really good when I saw it as their featured salad of the day. It was rather disappointing. It has a light vinaigrette dresssing drizzled over it, but it wasn't enough. They are generous with their steak so thats good. However the steak was rather tasteless.

I should've tasted that white stuff before I mixed my salad together. That white stuff ended up being some kind of butter cream and made the entire salad extremely fatty and greasy. I tried to scrape it off after I realized my mistake but it was too late and it was all over my salad. I thought it was going to be like salad cream or maybe that sweet japanese mayo (qewpie) but it wasn't and this destroyed my salad.

Steak and strawberries salad would've been great if they had a bit more vinaigrette and none of that butter topping on it.

By henrychan 4 years ago ah, this is the "food for the gods" place. sorry you didn't have a good experience. they do have eccentric food.... some good, some not.

By LA-OC-Foodie 4 years ago awww... the title & picture of the dish looked so interesting too -- but steak salads are always a bit tricky to dress ~ honey-mustard, chipotle or BBQ sauces are the only dressings I'd like on the very rare occasion I'd order a steak-topped salad.
