The burger was average but I am glad I finally got to try it.

By eric 1 year ago It's "famous" because they used the word in their sign. Kind of like a place saying that they have the world's "best" pastrami.

By eric 1 year ago Spike's is known for their teriyaki avocado cheeseburgers. They're good, but I wouldn't drive across town for them. They don't offer bacon, but I haven't eaten there in a few years, since I don't live in LA anymore.

By azrael 1 year ago i remember eating at this joint before (maybe a year or 2 ago?) while i was having my car washed across the street (next to the carl's jr.). it was their old school lookin' sign that caught my eye. but i have to agree, the burger was very much average. did they still have the bacon and raw patties just sittin' out there in the open in room temperature? heh.
