By wanderingchopsticks 2 years ago It's an udupi. I thought it'd be like a Chinese steamed bun, but it was a little fermented tasting. Kinda like Ethiopian bread. I didn't much care for the texture or flavor.

By happydot 2 years ago hubby says he agrees with you on ethiopian bread. he ate like a hog before and now cannot go near any ethiopian bread and food now! haha i've never had any so i'm curious.

By wanderingchopsticks 2 years ago Heh, I think I'm going out for Ethiopian Friday night so you can see pics. :) The Ethiopian bread (injera) is fermented and depending on the restaurant can be slightly to very sour. My first experience wasn't so great. My second one at Black Diamond in Chicago was very tasty. My third experience in Madison, Wisconsin, not so great. So it really depends on the restaurant. My friend says the place she's taking me to is her favorite so I'll have to report back!
