It's negligible, not all places that you eat shrimp actually de-vein it so I am sure you've eaten it without even knowing, haha

Yes. I only de-vein shrimps when it can be conveniently done. Other times, I just eat them with one eye closed... P-)

Just like boiled crawfish...... you can try to devein it by cracking the shell and then twisting the tail off and hopefully pulling out the intestine. But more often than not you'll fail and you end up eating the vein. Tasty!

If you like to eat shrimp by peeling them, you should try Killer Shrimp. It's spicy cajun shrimp and you've got three choices: killer shrimp with bread, killer shrimp with pasta, killer shrimp with rice.
I haven't tried to myself, just saw a mention on another blog.
