Get some fresh lump crab meat (it comes fresh or canned - I would use fresh) and mix in a bowl with a little breadcrumbs, sauteed onions and bell peppers, salt, pepper and one egg. Form into patties. Heat olive oil in a sautee pan and cook until golden on each side.
No nuts at all in this cake - just crushed bits of toffee in the layers and on top :)
