i live in california and i was visiting cebu in june of '08. i was looking for my friend at mcdonald's at ayala, and while i was there, i had to use the restroom. i waited outside the restroom and when the door opened, i hurried inside. i noticed that the lady that came out of the bathroom didn't head for the sink (the bathroom didn't have a sink inside) to wash her hands. and to think, she works there. so i followed her, just to see if she was maybe going to wash her hands at the sink at her station. but NO!!! she just rubbed her hands on her pants and proceeded to take the trays to hand to the customers on the other side of the counter. i reported the incident to the shift manager, wondering if they have a handwashing policy in force after using the restroom, and she seemed to have had a chat with the girl, but still i didn't see her wash her hands. yuck! i don't think i will be eating there again and i will tell all my friends and family not to eat there anymore.
