it's actually part of a kid's buffet - fun, huh? :)
haha, a $20000 dollar meal! how much is that in USD?
thanks crazypooh, Merry Christmas to you too! actually this was for winter solstice, on Dec 22nd. :) I'm sure you can get poon choi at restuarants in Chinatown overseas as well, especially in big cities like Toronto or San Francisco.
do you know what it is called in vietnamese? there's tons of vietnamese restuarants here in Toronto but I never tried it yet - the menus are always in vietnamese so it's hard to find pho with beef tendon.
i see - looks great though!
there's dunkin in Manila? nice! they should come to Hong Kong, or Toronto...:p
sweet and sour chicken? I remember tori is chicken, and it looks battered and deep fried
saba, as in mackerel?!
I think this is "Yee Shun", famous for their "double skin milk"
are you sure this is beef udon? it looks like my favorite tsui wah dish - their signature kyoto pork cartilage in rice vermicelli!
oh so that's the yellow tinge? the color looked a bit like uni. looks yummy!
how is it different from Chinese siu mai?
Apparently it's 焼売 in Japanese!
