    About me:
    I like to try out different cuisines in all corners of the world. Hong Kong is my BELOVED permanent home, but being a current undergraduate student at the University of Toronto means I'm stuck in this icebox for about 8 months a year. I get by with flavored coffee, crepes and Tim Hortons blueberry muffins, the three food groups that I truly enjoy in Canada.
    Food I like to eat:
    Seafood, but not fish - I like crustaceans like scallop (sea scallops) , lobster (all varieties) and shrimp (king prawns preferably, but tiger prawns are also good). My favorite sweet treat is ice cream, especially Movenpick ice cream and soft serve ice cream (McD's!) - paired with crepes would be an added extra. Crepes are my other weakness. I like them sweet, but savory seafood (NOT fish though) crepes with thin cream-based sauces (like mornay) are good too! I also love vegetables of all kinds from all regions of the world.
    Food I do not like to eat:
    Okra (or lady fingers if you speak British English) - this is really the only vegetable that I absolutely cannot stand.
    Who I'd like to eat with:
    People who enjoy food in silence. I love a good chat, but I like to enjoy my food without talking simultaneously.

      thanks crazypooh, Merry Christmas to you too! actually this was for winter solstice, on Dec 22nd. :) I'm sure you can get poon choi at restuarants in Chinatown overseas as well, especially in big cities like Toronto or San Francisco.

      do you know what it is called in vietnamese? there's tons of vietnamese restuarants here in Toronto but I never tried it yet - the menus are always in vietnamese so it's hard to find pho with beef tendon.
