    About me:
    Luv to eat and try to maintain my WT :D low sodium, low fat & low sugar... isn't everyone shd do the same?
    Food I like to eat:
    All kinds, Italian, Korean, Cafe style, Japanese, dumpling, taiwanese, thai, Indonesian, bbq..and open to try any kind of "edible" food... oh...COFFEE..can't miss!
    Food I do not like to eat:
    I can't stand oily food, no fried food, no seafood :( coz I m allergic to it

    Thanks for the message. I'm doing well over here in HK. Actually, I've been more busy with school than anything. I've been eating at the school's canteen, so there hasn't been anything exciting. Also, my camera broke and I just got another one. So, I will upload pics from HK soon. Sorry for the delay....

    Cappuccino Muffins

    Ingredients: 12 muffins

    1 cup white flour

    1 cup wheat flour
    3/4 cup sugar

    1+1/2 teaspoons baking powder

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1 cup soy milk

    2 tablespoons instant coffee granules

    6 tablespoons olive oil

    1/4 cup egg beater

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1/2 cup chocolate chips

    Directions:

    In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

    In another bowl, stir milk and coffee granules until coffee is

    dissolved. Add oil, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients

    just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Fill greased or

    paper-lined muffin cups 2/3rd's full. Bake at 375-degrees for 17 to 20

    minutes or until muffins test done. Cool for five minutes before

    removing from pans to wire racks.

    Recipe makes about 12 muffins.

    did u finish all your leftovers? i think they were better the next day with all the juices fully steeped in the meat. i loved them! thanks for bringing the mound of meat that you did. next time, i won't forget the lettuce (i hope i won't.)

    It was fun! Sorry everything was a bit salty. I forgot that the Thai fish sauce is saltier than my normal VNese fish sauce. :P

    I didn't know you were gonna share with your mom. You should have taken more leftovers!

    I thought the dim sum was pretty good and cheap, but not sure if it's worth the wait.

    I was thinking next outing should be VNese food. Either 7 courses of beef ($12.99 per person) or a family-style restaurant?

    Crazypooh - If you're still looking for suggestions of place to eat in BC, I would definately suggest Shabusen - it's all you can eat sushi and Korean BBQ. It's not a buffet, but you order off a menu and theyll bring you as much as you want...only $15.95 for dinner! Lunch is cheaper. There's a couple locations, the one I've been to is on Granville St. close to Robson. Lot's of excellent dim sum place on No. 3 Road in Richmond. Any crepe place in Vancouver is delish. Also, there's a really great Chinese restaurant at the very end of Robson, I don't remember the name of the place, but it's at last restaurant. And lastly, definately go to Granville Island for 1/2 a day if you haven't been - big, fun farmers market-like place! I love it there... Have fun! :)
