    I am an extremely picky eater... not because I am snooty... but because I just grew up not liking many of stuffs that everyone else eats... I always blame it on genetics.

    Just a warning that the pan-fried dumplings at 10053 are not crispy. They're really a disappointment.

    It was great to finally meet you too! I'm sorry there weren't more things for you to eat at the buffet though. :( We'll have to do it again but at a place where you can try more things. Like a restaurant that specializes in cilantro and carrots because I know how much you looooove cilantro and carrots. ;)

    Hey BuddyDVD, Can you enable a privacy function so only your "friends" can view profile pictures? I know only registered members can see it, but I just thought of it since the Facebook roll-out means a lot of unknown new members. Just a thought. Thanks!

    I haven't eaten here so I can't vouch for it. But two of the OC food bloggers liked it. And there's a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert. And it's in Irvine. :)

    They're the more upscale version of Taco Mesa, same owners. When I lived in OC, I used to go all the time for their $1 Taco Tuesdays. :)

    My camera is a Canon Powershot S3. I got it about 3 months ago. It's kind of big though (not something you can fit into your pocket. However, I was deciding between getting a DSLR camera or a regular point and shoot and went with that camera. There's a really nice super macro feature which I use for food images.
    As for photoshop, I just recently started using it so I don't know much of the features, but I do process pictures in photoshop--mainly just to make the image look brighter.

    suggestion - when im clicking on restraunt name hyperlink...i'm actually wanting to see the LOCATION of the restraunt... instead i get all the other dish listings of the restraunt =(
    -also, is it possible to make the category of the dish MORE VISIBLE? (mexican, thai, indian, etc...)

    haha. I haven't eaten there in like 3 years so I don't exactly remember. I just remember liking it. But my pocketbook likes it more. :) It's a good way to try a lot of dishes though. Most Indian restaurants do a lunch buffet so you can try others.

    I've heard they then just reheat the curry for dinner. I tend to believe that b/c curry takes a long time to cook, much longer than the usual half hour or so of waiting after you order.
