They removed the loin as a strip steak and served you the tenderloin still attached to the bone then? Or was it an actual Porterhouse?
Bone In? Filet Mignon comes from the tenderloin, a boneless cut of meat. In fact, the term filet comes from the French word Fillet which means boneless meat. If you had a bone in your steak, you got ripped off. Of course at $56 a pound, I'd say you already did. They sell for half that around here at top restaurants. But then I guess if you enjoyed it, then it doesn't matter.
Well, our McD's won't do that. They claim that they do not have the proper tray and are not allowed to. Thailand is much too far a walk for me. I guess I'll just buy some frozen fries and some nacho cheese. I could add some sliced Jalapenos and do it up big. Hey, thanks for the inspiration. I'll see if I can't upload a pic when it's done.
Cheesy Fries from McDonald's? Get out. How did you get so lucky to find that? I'd buy five orders right now, if our store carried those. They look really good.
Not bad at all. :)
Simply divine! I know what I'm cooking tonight.
I had the Hungry Man Turkey dinner one Thanksgiving. It was pretty good.
It looks really good. I'm drooling.
I think the soup looks rather like plain pork broth. Unlike any soup I'm used to. I lick only out of curiosity.
Do you eat the petals or are they just garnish?
I've always wanted to try Foie Gras.
Both awesome flavors!
Heineken is far superior in quality and taste.
Very pretty!
Craw fish are awesome. I catch my own usually and boil them with spicy Cajun seasoning. And yes, I suck the heads.
Great pic! What all's on that?
I agree but I lick anyway.
It looks like it may have been cooked too long.
Spicy Cajun! I wish I had some places like that around here. If you ask for a fish or shrimp taco around here, you just get dumb looks.
