If you are still in NY, there are 3 locations that I know of. The real bakeries are either Upper East and Upper West. There is a small place off 5th/42nd street, near the NY Library. I will pay you to bring some back for me. Seriously.
Hard to pick my favorite, but my top 3 are Blackout, cappuccino, and red velvet.
It was kind of pricey, but considering the amount of work that went into each one(most of these had a different filling and frosting)it was well worth the money. These are definitely the best cupcakes on either coast! Sprinkles pales in comparison in both flavor and presentation.
Are these shiao long bao or steamed dumplings? They look like dumplings but the filling looks really good.
Oh. =( Thats too bad. I'm always looking for a good shiao long bao place. So far I've only been to two places that make them right.
Do these have broth in them?
YUM. I love the ginger in the soup. I usually get the spicy miso with it!
Crab bisque is the best.
